How RFID Guard Tour System Works?

RFID guard tour system is the mainstream guard management system on the market at present. Radiofrequency identification (RFID), is a kind of communication technology, can through the radio signal to identify specific targets and to read and write data, without identification system and establish a mechanical or optical contact between specific objectives. RFID radio frequency technology has the characteristics of convenience, efficiency, and stability, so it is widely used in various fields.

The basic working principle of RFID technology is not complicated: the tag into the magnetic field, after receiving the rf signal from the reader, with the energy gained by the induced current send product information stored in the chip (Passive Tag), or by label initiative to send a frequency signal (Active Tag), the reader reads the information and the decoding, sent to the central information system on data processing.

A complete set of RFID system, is by the reader (scanner) and electronic tag, and application software system of three parts, its working principle is the reader to launch a specific frequency radio waves of energy to the tags, send the internal data to drive tags circuit, the reader will receive interpreting data in a sequence, for application to do the corresponding processing.

The most important advantage of RFID is non-touch recognition, which can read labels through snow, fog, ice, paint, grime, and barcodes in harsh environments where they cannot be used.

At present, the main problem that restricts the development of RFID system is incompatible standards. The confusion and fragmentation of the RFID industry as a whole has limited the growth of the industry as a whole, with major vendors offering proprietary systems that lead to different applications and different industries adopting different vendor frequency and protocol standards. Many European and American organizations are addressing this problem and have achieved some success. Standardization will stimulate the rapid development and wide application of RFID technology.
